i’ve been away.
It has been FOREVER since I last posted anything substantial here and A LOT has happened since then. In a brief overview, I’ve turned 20, resigned from the position of president of my org, have gotten an iPhone4 for my birthday, have taken the NMAT for the second time, have started applying for med schools, have gotten obsessed in Stieg Larsson’s “The Girl..” trio of books, have had my graduation picture taken and the latest, have gotten a 13-inch MacBook Pro for Christmas.
Truth be told, the reason why I wasn’t able to write stuff about what’s happening in my life is because… it’s too hard for me. Specifically, the whole ordeal I went through when I resigned from my position as president was a really BIG heartbreak and going to class everyday was too much of a reminder of my failure that, I really didn’t want to write about it anymore. It was dreadful enough having people ask me “WHY?” and to act like I’m fine, It was even harder to act like I wasn’t HEARTBROKEN and that I didn’t feel betrayed by the people I thought were my “FRIENDS” (in every sense of the word). But now, thankfully, with the help of the most amazing person in the world (Paolo. <3) and the TRUE friends I found in GeneSoc, I’s proud to say that i have totally and completely gotten over it. and hopefully, if I’m not too lazy to, I might write about it here.
